About Me

I was born in California and have spent my life moving eastward, eventually settling in Raleigh, North Carolina. I graduated from Davidson College with a major in the Philosophy of Literature and later earned my Juris Doctorate from UNC's School of Law. Throughout my legal career, I have worked on a variety of cases, including family law, and have developed a special interest in collaborative law and conflict resolution. I am committed to helping individuals find positive and practical solutions to their legal challenges.

Collaborative Law

Collaborative law is a process that seeks to resolve family law cases peacefully and cooperatively. It involves each party having an attorney who is trained in collaborative law, and all four people involved sign a pledge to share information openly, speak civilly to one another, and allow the attorneys to withdraw if the parties are unable to reach an agreement. This approach focuses on finding mutually beneficial solutions rather than engaging in adversarial litigation.
