Company History
In 1954, Clyde and Jean Wetherington moved from Leechville, Arkansas to Valdosta, Georgia. They soon opened their first insurance agency, Wetherington Insurance Agency, on Deans Bridge Road in South Augusta. In 1975, Stephen Wetherington assumed the reins of his parents' business. In 1988, Clyde Wetherington and Stephen Wetherington established Affordable Insurance Agency, Inc. to increase the variety of insurance products for all types of customer needs in the CSRA. Today, we have 13 convenient locations, serving customers in Georgia and South Carolina.
