A Time To Change Counseling

A Time to Change Counseling Center, P.A. is a locally owned practice that serves both Leon and Wakulla Counties. Our commitment is to provide quality, professional, and confidential care for all ages within these communities. We are dedicated to offering a wide range of services in a confidential, caring, and safe environment.

Our Team

Our team of professionals are licensed with the State of Florida and have over 50 cumulative years of experience working in this field. We have Sabrina Joiner, MSW, LCSW, who is our President/CEO and an E.M.D.R.I.A. certified E.M.D.R. therapist. She specializes in parenting issues, marital conflict, depression, anxiety, women's issues, Christian counseling, and trauma.

We also have Cyndi Goodwin, MSW, LCSW, who acquired her M.S.W. from FSU in 1998. Her experience includes working with mood disorders, PTSD, addictions, and adult ADHD. She works with many Veterans and others who experience PTSD and has started a Veterans Support Group and is establishing a Military Sexual Trauma Support Group.

Services Offered

At A Time to Change Counseling Center, P.A., we offer a variety of services to cater to the diverse needs of our clients. These services include individual, family, and group therapy sessions, EMDR therapy, Christian counseling, and support groups for Veterans and those experiencing PTSD.

Our commitment to providing quality care is reflected in our dedication to equipping our clinicians with the best tools to provide this level of care. We have seen firsthand how effective EMDR is for our patients and are looking forward to increasing the availability of these services.

Community Involvement

We are dedicated to supporting our Veterans and stand by them as we provide the quality care they deserve. We are honored to be a part of the VACCN (Veterans Administration Community Care Network) as we work together with other providers to offer the best care for those that we can never repay.

Our Locations

We have two convenient locations in Crawfordville, FL, and Tallahassee, FL. Our Tallahassee location is at 1363 East Lafayette Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301. We are committed to providing accessible mental health services to the communities of Leon and Wakulla Counties.

Updates

We are always looking for ways to improve and expand our services. Recent updates include our decision to provide EMDR training for all of our clinicians in the first of the year. We are experiencing problems with our phone service, and if you are having trouble reaching us, please contact the front office at admin@atimetochangecounselingcenter.com. We have also moved our Tallahassee location to 1363 East Lafayette Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301, beginning August 1, 2020.
