The story of mod mood began with the founders, Pat Gooch and Jeanne Nichols, who discovered a shared passion for purchasing, restoring, and preserving the beauty of vintage furniture. Their interest soon turned into a thriving business when they acquired the former commercial greenhouse site, which was rich in metro Denver history. This location served as the home of mod mood/RETRO Consignment for the first 10 years.

Today, our spacious 14,000 square foot location showcases one of the largest selections of modern, contemporary, and vintage furnishings in the Rocky Mountain area. Our offerings range from mid-century classics, retro-inspired designs, to the latest contemporary pieces.
