RBA, or Richard R. Brown Associates, is a full-service architectural, interior design, and planning practice that has been serving clients since its founding in 1985. Over the years, the firm has grown to include a team of experienced professionals who are licensed to practice in over 30 states. RBA has a proven track record of providing services throughout the United States and Mexico, and excels in a diverse range of project types including corporate and governmental workspaces, hospitality projects, medical facilities, retail/lifestyle centers, high technology, and multi-family living environments.

At RBA, we are committed to providing quality service and anticipating potential problems in order to serve our clients effectively. We have earned the respect of our clients and peers through our efficient provision of pre-design, design, and construction administration services on a national basis. Our goal is to create value, support work performance, and deliver cost-effective solutions targeted to our clients' goals. This commitment to quality has earned us fifteen design awards, including three Honor Awards from the American Institute of Architects.

Team

RBA's staff of professionals is led by Richard Brown, AIA, NCARB, the firm's lead design architect, and Troy Downing, AIA, LEED, Associate Principal and production manager of the firm. Key members of the RBA staff include senior project architects/project managers Don Keen, Phillip Morgan, and Trushna Patel, who combine for over 100 years of architectural experience. Our Interior Design Division is led by Lee Ann Atkins, NCIDQ, and her team of experienced interior designers. The RBA Information Technology and Visualization department is anchored by Robert Ederer, and the firm is adept in computer modeling and animation as well as building information modeling (BIM).

RBA has a diverse portfolio of projects, including corporate offices, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, under construction, work in progress, modular services, and more. Some of our notable projects include:

• Gulfport Energy Corporation: serving as the corporate headquarters for this Oklahoma City based company.
• Artesian Hotel: a 91 room, $51 million, boutique hotel located in an historic building.
• Hotel ZaZa - Dallas: a 150 room boutique hotel that has become a popular destination.
• Waterford Hotel - OKC: a boutique hotel originally designed as a Vista International hotel.
• Canopy by Hilton, Bricktown: a 147 room, 9 story boutique hotel.
• Modular Services: providing efficient design and fast track build services for a variety of clients.
• Tru by Hilton OKC: the architect for the new Tru Hotel by Hilton in Oklahoma City.
• First National Bank of Oklahoma: the Architect for the newest FNB branch, on Classen Curve in Oklahoma City.
• The Cottages at Hotel ZaZa - Dallas: located adjacent to the main hotel, these cottages offer a unique lodging experience.
• LaQuinta - OKC: RBA is the architect for the recently completed 110 room LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Oklahoma City.
