Our Philosophy

By experiencing nature hands-on and then taking that experience into the classroom, we spark learning at the highest level of each individual child's potential.
Our Services
Our Secret Garden offers both half and full day programs for children aged 2.5 to 5 years old. Our half-day program runs from 8:30am to 12:00pm, with an option to extend until 1:00pm for lunch. Our full-day program runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with some extended hours available on Mondays and Fridays. Our program is designed to provide opportunities for children to experience nature hands-on, through activities in our outdoor organic garden, indoor planting areas, aquaria, and around the community. A typical day at Our Secret Garden involves children's free-choice time, including a self-serve snack, as well as opportunities in art exploration, writing/drawing, cooking, dramatic play, math, science, music and movement, sensory activities, and outdoor exploration.

Our goals and objectives are centered around sowing seeds of integrity in our children, nurturing their natural sense of wonder and curiosity, and fostering compassion and tolerance of individuality. We strive to create rich learning experiences through group play, individual attention, developmentally appropriate curriculum, and nature-based activities. We are committed to providing opportunities for children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in a stimulating and healthy environment.
