Applications Engineering Group, Inc. (AEGI) is a forensic science and engineering firm founded in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida. Our team is comprised of engineers, scientists, physicians, and biomechanists who are recognized experts in their respective fields. With extensive experience in a wide range of disciplines, we provide technical analyses and damage assessments for various types of failures, accidents, and expert witness testimony.

Facilities

Our facility, located just east of Jacksonville in Atlantic Beach, Florida, offers a wide range of capabilities to assist our professionals with their investigations. Our inspection/testing areas can accommodate the largest of inspections, and are also available for rental. The materials laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment, including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) and macro/micro hardness testing. We also maintain a warehouse on site, dedicated to the storage of evidence.
