Your career starts here. What are you waiting for?
At the Spokane Teaching Health Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and education to our community. As a fully accredited institutional sponsor, we offer a variety of residency programs, including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Transitional Year Residency, as well as fellowship programs in Sports Medicine, Obstetrics, and Psychiatry.
Our organization was established in 2013 with the goal of addressing the critical shortage of residency slots in Eastern Washington. We are a joint venture between Empire Health Foundation, Providence Health Care, and Washington State University Health Sciences Spokane, and our board members are respected community leaders in their respective fields.
The Clinic
The Spokane Teaching Health Clinic is located downtown Spokane on the WSU campus and was designed with both patients and healthcare providers in mind. With 56 exam rooms, 3 procedure suites, and 6 counseling rooms, our clinic is equipped to provide comprehensive education in patient care. Collaboration among healthcare professionals is a cornerstone of our clinic, where residents work alongside students in various healthcare fields, including pharmacy, social work, and physical therapy, to provide the best possible care for our patients while learning about teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
