GracePoint Preschool

Welcome to our preschool, where we prioritize the comprehensive development of the whole child through active learning. Our approach to education is balanced, nurturing, and caring, tailored to the needs of children who are 3, 4, and 5 years old. We believe that preschool education should be age-appropriate and based on solid child development principles, addressing the child's development in social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual areas.

In our preschool, your child will have the opportunity to learn and play with others, developing large and small muscle dexterity, and receiving stimulation for creative mental development. Our curriculum emphasizes the significance of play in a child's learning process, where children can select their activities and interact with teachers, fostering strong peer group friendships.

Our Philosophy

We believe that each child develops at his or her own pace, and we treat every child as an individual. Our program focuses on developing social interactions through learning to play, work, and communicate with other children. We introduce our students to various content areas such as language and literacy, math and science, health and physical development, social studies, and the creative arts.

Our Christian education includes Bible stories, verse work, and chapel time with the Children's Pastor from GracePoint Wesleyan. We aim to provide an educational environment that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive development while instilling Christian values such as loving, sharing, and understanding God.

Programs

We offer two programs catering to the specific needs of children in different age groups:

• 3 and 4-Year-Old Program: The 3&4-year-olds program focuses on social interactions through learning to play, work, and communicate with other children. The students receive Christian education and are introduced to various content areas. Your child must be 3 years old by September 1 to enroll in this class.
• 4 and 5-Year-Old Program: The 4&5-year-olds program focuses on developing the skills needed for kindergarten, covering social/emotional development, language and literacy, math, science, health and physical development, social studies, and the creative arts. Your child must be 4 years old by September 1 to enroll in this class.
• Kindergarten Prep: Our Kindergarten Prep class provides a bridge between preschool and Kindergarten. Students will continue to build on the foundational skills they learned in preschool, preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey.
