Being a business owner wasn't my original path. Before embarking on my journey with State Farm, I dedicated myself to teaching at Prosser Career Academy in Chicago, Illinois. During my time there, the Board of Education offered a program that allowed me to gain experience in a small business setting over the summer. For six weeks, I worked at an insurance agency near my home, an experience that proved to be a turning point. At the end of those six weeks, the agency owner asked me to continue working part-time, a role I embraced while simultaneously teaching and pursuing my master's degree. Then, on a seemingly ordinary Saturday in July 2002, the agency owner suggested I explore opportunities with State Farm. Taking a leap of faith, I made the bold decision to change careers, embarking on a journey that has presented both profound professional and personal challenges. Twenty years later, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and help people navigate their insurance needs.

My dedicated State Farm team comprises four exceptional individuals, each bilingual (Spanish) and collectively possessing 42 years of insurance experience.
