Our Story
We began making drapes for friends and family in 2001, while working as technical supervisors at a downtown Houston drapery workroom. After their visit, our friends and family members admired our home-made draperies. They wanted their homes furnished with treatments that would exude the same quality as ours did. After some consultation, we crafted draperies to their exact specifications. This was the spark that ignited our passion for creating beautiful window treatments that would transform homes and spaces. In 2009, we established UA Drapery Works to help local residents and businesses furnish their homes with quality soft window treatments that are beautiful and reasonably priced. We made sure that our clients got the most value from our services and remained 100% satisfied. Our business thrived on returning customers and word of mouth. Thanks to all the patronage across Texas. In early 2014, we finally moved out of our home and proudly founded Katy Drapery Company.
