At Baton Rouge Christian Counseling Center, we are a united team of Christian counselors committed to professional and spiritual growth. Our mission is to glorify God by providing counseling services and seminars in the Baton Rouge area. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we rely upon Biblical truth and diverse professional skills in our counseling to make an impact on our client's spiritual growth, psychological and emotional healing, and achievement of therapeutic goals.

Our Services

We offer a variety of counseling services to cater to the needs of individuals, couples, and families. Our team of experienced and dedicated counselors specialize in areas such as depression and anxiety counseling, eating disorder therapy, marital and couple counseling, abuse and trauma recovery, grief and loss, child emotional/behavioral problems, adolescent concerns, and substance-related problems.

Our counseling approach is energetic, authentic, non-judgmental, and collaborative in nature. Our Team

Our team consists of experienced and dedicated counselors who are passionate about helping people achieve their fullest potential and life satisfaction. Each counselor has their own unique approach and specialization, ensuring that we can provide the best possible care for our clients.

From our director, Sherry Kadair, who can help you identify and overcome areas where you may be struggling, to Dr. Dee Adams, who is certified in EFT therapy and can help you achieve emotional connection with your spouse, we have a counselor who can cater to your specific needs.

Our team also includes Erin McKowen, who has experience and training in individual, group, and couples counseling; Joel Gilbert, who is dedicated and passionate about helping individuals walk through the challenges of life; Melissa Bond, who is committed to providing a safe place to help you reorganize and recharge; Stacy House, who has over 14 years of experience in helping people achieve their fullest potential; Kerri Overstreet, who values the importance of a strong, trusting relationship; and Brandon Husted, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a bachelor's degree in Religion and Psychology.
