We have two convenient locations in Norwalk and Garden Grove, California, where we provide a warm and welcoming environment for children to learn and grow. Parents' Experiences at TLC Learning Center Norwalk
The reviews shared by parents reveal a mix of positive and negative experiences at TLC Learning Center Norwalk. While some parents praise the staff and facilities, others have had negative experiences, citing issues with staff behavior and care provided to their children.
Problems with Staff Behavior
Several parents have reported experiencing difficulties with staff behavior, including reports of intimidation and bullying towards their children. One parent, Yesenia Melchor, reported that her son was targeted by staff members in Classroom 2, the Explorers, and was even excluded from activities and given different treatment than other children. This behavior led to a difficult transition for her son, and ultimately, the termination of her contract.
Another parent, Karla, reported that her twins seemed afraid of the teacher and exhibited behavioral changes after attending the center, including nightmares and clinginess. She attributed this to the use of "old style discipline" and the promotion of unhealthy habits, such as the use of candy and chips as rewards.
Poor Communication and Treatment of Children
Yesenia Melchor also reported that staff members failed to provide updates on her son's well-being and interactions while he was at the center, leading her to seek the director's help. However, the director took no action and ultimately terminated her contract. This lack of communication and attention to her son's needs led to a difficult experience for both Yesenia and her son.
Cynthia Gonzalez shared a more extreme experience, as she and her brother were forced to leave the center after her mother discovered marks on her brother's body. The center was subsequently shut down for investigation.
Positive Experiences
In contrast, Mary Caldera shared a very positive experience, praising the staff and facilities at TLC Learning Center Norwalk. She reported that her daughters received excellent care and that the center was like a second family to them.
