Southwest Healthcare Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare in southwest North Dakota and northwest South Dakota. Our mission is to offer comprehensive medical services to individuals and families in our community. Our History

Our story began in the early 1900s, when a group of visionary healthcare professionals came together to establish a hospital in the region. Since then, we have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community, incorporating new technologies and services while maintaining our core values of compassion, excellence, and patient-centered care.

Our team of healthcare practitioners includes specialists in various fields such as Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and more. Each of our practitioners is dedicated to providing personalized care, backed by the latest medical knowledge and expertise.

Services Offered

We offer a wide range of services, including emergency care, acute care, laboratory, radiology, out-patient nursing, and diagnostic endoscopy. Our Bowman Clinic provides allergy testing, breast cancer awareness, cosmetic services, and mental health support, among others. We also have rehabilitation therapy services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Patient Services

At Southwest Healthcare Services, we believe in empowering our patients with information and support. Our patient services include patient financial services, how to understand your medical statement, pay your bill, and financial assistance. We also provide resources for patient portals, advanced directives, and release of information.
