Meet Our Attorneys

Our attorneys have extensive knowledge and expertise in their respective practice areas and are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for their clients.

W. David Sims, II, a native of Mississippi, followed his family roots back to the Charlottesville area. While studying law at the University of Virginia, David interned with the Charlottesville Commonwealth Attorney's Office, where he developed a passion for criminal law. Since becoming an attorney, David has pursued opportunities to refine his skills as a defense attorney and has completed the necessary training to become a court-appointed defense counsel for indigent clients.

Brian Chan, a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and Penn State University, focuses his practice on criminal defense, DUI and serious traffic offenses, and family law. Brian is the head of the firm's Student Rights Practice initiative and is dedicated to providing exceptional representation to students facing legal challenges.
