Midwest Ohio Dental Care

MidWest Ohio Dental Care has a long and rich history of providing quality dental care to the communities of Sidney and Piqua, Ohio. Founded in 1991 as Charles J. Edelen, DDS, Inc., the practice was driven by Dr. Edelen's desire to offer comprehensive and compassionate dental services. After five years serving with the US Public Health Service on reservations in Montana and Wyoming, Dr. Edelen brought his experience in children's dental care, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry to Sidney. As the practice grew, it expanded its physical space and welcomed Dr. Damen Patel as an associate in 2002. Dr. Patel, who eventually became a full partner, helped to navigate the increasing patient base and elevate service offerings. In 2003, the name changed to Shelby Family Dental Care, reflecting the practice's commitment to providing personalized care for families.

The acquisition of Dr. David Fields' practice in 2004 further solidified Shelby Family Dental Care's position as a leading provider in the region. Continuing to expand, the practice adopted the name MidWest Ohio Dental Care in 2011 with the integration of Dr. Andrew Jackson's successful Piqua practice. Today, MidWest Ohio Dental Care proudly operates two convenient locations, serving both Sidney and Piqua with a diverse range of services from routine checkups and cleanings to more specialized treatments such as orthodontics and dental implants.
