We are a family-owned and operated funeral home that has been proudly serving the communities of Centuria, Balsam Lake, Milltown, Luck, Frederic, St. Croix Falls, and the surrounding areas since April 2007. Our funeral home was previously known, but under the new ownership of Thomas and Lerena (Reenie) Kolstad and their family, we have changed our name to Kolstad Family Funeral Home. Our team is dedicated to providing professional, courteous, and meaningful funeral services that honor and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away.

Thomas J. Kolstad, our funeral director and owner, has been serving the community for many years as the manager and co-owner of the funeral home. Together, Thomas and Reenie have over 40 years of combined experience in providing compassionate care and support to families during their time of need.

Our Services

• Funeral Services: We provide traditional funeral services, including visitations, funeral ceremonies, and graveside services. We work closely with families to create personalized services that reflect the life and personality of their loved one.
• Cremation Services: We offer cremation services, including direct cremation, cremation with a memorial service, and cremation with a full funeral service. We provide high-quality urns, keepsake urns, and jewelry that hold a small portion of the cremated remains.
• Veterans Services: We are proud to serve the men and women who have served our country. We provide veteran's services, including burial flags, headstones, and grave markers.
• Pre-Planning: We offer pre-planning services that allow individuals to express their wishes and make arrangements for their funeral in advance. This can help to ease the burden on loved ones and ensure that an individual's final wishes are carried out.
• Grief Support: We provide grief support resources and helpful information to guide families through the loss of a loved one.

Our Facilities

Our funeral home has been completely remodeled since we purchased it in 2007. We have expanded and tastefully decorated each room to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our facilities include:

• Funeral/Visitation Chapel: Our generously-sized funeral/visitation chapel can accommodate up to 200 guests and features state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment.
• Foyer Entry: Our spacious foyer entry provides a welcoming and comfortable space for guests to gather.
• Arrangement/Conference Room: Our arrangement/conference room provides a private and comfortable space for families to make arrangements and discuss their needs.
• Refreshment Lounge/Fellowship Room: Our refreshment lounge/fellowship room provides a space for guests to gather and share memories and stories of their loved one.
• Handicapped Accessible Restrooms: Our funeral home is fully handicapped accessible, including our restrooms.
• Cloak Room: Our cloak room provides a convenient space for guests to hang their coats and belongings.
