The reviews shared by patients and family members describe negative experiences at Norton's medical facility. The main concerns revolve around patient care, communication, and professionalism. Patients have reported being "dumped" out of their wheelchairs onto the street, being ignored or rudely treated by front desk and reception staff, and facing difficulties in accessing medical records.
Inconsistent Services
Some reviews highlight the inadequacy of the Records Department, where patients have struggled to obtain their medical records. The lack of attention, urgency, and knowledge displayed by the department has caused frustration and delays, eventually requiring patients to seek additional support.
Overwhelming Experience
A patient shared their story of losing a loved one, only to have the hospital refuse to allow them to be present during a critical moment. This experience was made worse by the hospital's inconsistent application of COVID-19 restrictions and the lack of empathy displayed by staff.
Disappointing Experience
Other reviews describe lengthy delays in responding to phone calls and rescheduling appointments, leaving patients feeling frustrated and disappointed. One patient shared their 21-year relationship with the hospital, only to feel forced to seek a new doctor due to poor service.
