Mixed Reviews on Marilyn's Therapy Approach

Positive Experiences

Some reviewers had a positive experience with Marilyn's therapy approach, highlighting her competence in solving children's behavioral problems without labeling them as ADHD. She is praised for identifying situational stressors that cause children to act out and providing clear directives that yield immediate results.

Negative Experiences and Concerns

On the other hand, several reviewers were disappointed and disillusioned with Marilyn's approach. Some felt judged and uncomfortable during their sessions, citing cultural insensitivity and ignorance. Others were concerned that a social psychologist was giving advice on treating ADHD, a medical condition that they believe requires the attention of a medical professional.

Criticisms and Controversies

Some reviewers were critical of Marilyn's stance on ADHD, accusing her of perpetuating mental health stigma and lacking understanding of what it's like to live with the condition. Others felt that her approach was misleading and unqualified, given her background in social psychology rather than medicine.
