Unprofessional and Unethical Behavior

One reviewer, Joshua Blanchard, shares a horrific experience with Rood, stating that she is "abusive and a bully" who takes advantage of clients. According to Blanchard, Rood made threatening calls to their agent while intoxicated and refused to compromise on repairs.
Poor Quality and False Representations
Both Joshua Blanchard and Randal Knott report instances of poor quality and false representations. Blanchard claims that Rood's contractors were instructed to perform only superficial repairs, and the receipts produced at closing were false. Knott discovered a major water leak on the first day of owning his new home and was brushed off by Rood, who suggested that he should have hired a better inspector.
