Unsatisfactory Experience with Home Depot and Visionworks Construction
Home Depot's Suwanee GA location and Visionworks Construction Inc. were hired for a kitchen remodel project. The contractor, Visionworks, initially seemed professional and friendly, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by numerous issues.
Key Issues:
- The team failed to complete the plumbing installation, leaving the homeowner with no drainpipes, faucet install, and incomplete dishwasher install.
- The refrigerator side boards were too long and had to be trimmed, with the contractor charging an additional $418 for the service.
- The refrigerator doors could only be partially opened due to the installation, requiring the extension of the cabinet drawers and replacement of the quartz countertop.
The homeowner attempted to resolve the issues directly with Home Depot and Visionworks but was met with a denial letter stating the issues were "out of scope." Faced with no other option, the homeowner was forced to take the matter to court.
