Our Story

Fiesta Mexicana is a story of passion, hard work, and dedication to bringing the authentic flavors and traditions of Mexico to your table. Our journey began with our founders, Martin and Patricia Rangel, who left their small town in Mexico to pursue the American Dream. With no knowledge of English and no contacts, they worked hard to succeed in the fields, apples and cherries in Washington, and peaches in California.

From the Fields to the Kitchen

After years of working in the fields, Martin and Patricia decided to take a leap into a completely different industry. They opened a Latin market and travel agency, but it wasn't until a conversation with their brother-in-law, Cesar Camberos, that they stumbled upon the idea of opening a restaurant. With their combined passion for food and hospitality, Fiesta Mexicana was born.

The First Location

The first Fiesta Mexicana location was opened in Woodland Park, Colorado in 2000, and it was an instant success. Before the first year was up, plans were already in place to open the second location, and soon after the third. Over the next few years, the company expanded to seven locations across Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada.

Family Legacy

Martin and Patricia's four boys and daughter grew up assisting with the business, learning the ins and outs of the restaurant industry. As they got older, they began to take on more responsibility, eventually finding their own roles within the company. Today, their children continue to play a vital part in the management and growth of Fiesta Mexicana.
