Customer Service Issues

Several customers have expressed frustration with DeWalt's customer service. One customer, Ming C., filed a warranty claim for a pair of broken angle cutting pliers and received an initial response, but then experienced a lack of follow-up and communication from the company. Despite multiple attempts to contact DeWalt, including phone calls and social media outreach, Ming C. has yet to receive a resolution to the issue.

Disappointment with Warranty and Repair Costs

Russell Loyd, a long-time DeWalt customer, was disappointed with the company's warranty and repair policies. When his 20v finish nailer's drive pin broke, DeWalt quoted him a high repair cost, which he felt was unreasonable given the tool's relatively low usage. This experience left Russell disenchanted with DeWalt's customer service and considering alternative brands.

Product Suggestions

On a more positive note, Dean Nicely suggested that DeWalt consider creating a cordless palm sander with a 20-lithium battery.
