Empowering Children to Reach their Full Potential
Nestled in the hearts of Wesley Chapel and Tampa, Florida, Great Hope Preschool (GHP) fosters the crucial early steps of young minds. Founded in 2014, we prioritize a holistic approach to childcare, nurturing the physical, emotional, and social growth of each child in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our Roots
Our journey began in 2014, blooming with the vision of providing a home away from home where young minds could explore and learn. Over the years, we had the privilege of serving families in Wesley Chapel, expanding to the Lake Magdalene community in 2018. Sadly, in July 2023, our Tampa location closed its doors to return to our GHP roots. We are currently working on a new location to bring our impactful programs back to the Tampa area.
Learning Through Play
We believe that play is the foundation of early childhood learning. Inspired by the renowned theories of renowned psychologist Jean Piaget, we encourage exploration, discovery, and active engagement through play-based activities. Through creative play, social interaction, and exploration of their surroundings, children learn important skills such as language development, cognitive skills, and emotional intelligence.
A Community of Support
At GHP, we value strong partnerships and collaboration. We actively engage with local organizations and the wider community, recognizing the vital role it plays in fostering young minds. We also prioritize family involvement, providing regular updates through private Facebook groups, Learning Genie, and Google Invites.
An Inclusive Approach
We embrace the unique needs of every child and strive to create an inclusive environment where all children can thrive. We are proud to offer a variety of programs and services, including:
- Infant Program: Providing individual care and developmental support for infants from birth to one year.
- Toddler Program: Enriching the learning experience for toddlers from one to two years.
- Community Partnerships: Fostering a sense of belonging and learning through community engagement.
