Our apartments feature deep rose wood cabinets with finely polished red and black accented granite, dining room ceiling fans, and wood grain flooring. Stainless steel appliances include a 18cf refrigerator, 5-burner gas range, a dishwasher, and a built-in microwave. A large pantry, deep, dual well, dual stainless steel sink, and high arc faucet round out the kitchen making entertaining or whipping up that perfect meal even easier.

The Timbers is a lush, garden-style community featuring five pools, three spas, multiple bar-b-que grills, 24hr laundry facilities, and a picnic area. Inside our recently renovated apartment homes, you'll find gas heating and ranges, built-in dishwashers, and microwaves. Our community amenities include Wi-Fi ready homes with preinstalled equipment and First Month Free, provided by Cox, lush landscaping, five pools, three spas, six laundry facilities, onsite parking with assigned covered parking available, picnic areas, large community barbecues, basketball court, courtesy patrol - 7 days a week, and pet-friendly apartments.

The Timbers is conveniently located at the base of the Fletcher Hills in El Cajon. For commuters, we are just steps away from the Arnelle Avenue Trolley Station and only minutes from the 8, 52, and 67, and 125 freeways. For those who both live and play in East County, The Timbers is only minutes from major employers, shopping, dining, fitness, and entertainment.
Disappointing Experiences
Several reviewers have expressed dissatisfaction with their experiences at this apartment complex. Many have reported poor communication, broken appliances, and unlivable conditions. Leanne Martinez and Breana Davis both gave the complex 1-star ratings, citing subpar management, poor living conditions, and unprofessional behavior from staff. Denise Pendarvis also gave a 1-star review, detailing issues with ants, dirty laundry facilities, and trash accumulation.
Lack of Communication and Responsiveness
Several reviewers have expressed frustration with the management's lack of communication and responsiveness. Victoria Rahal's experience was particularly disappointing, as she was left in limbo after being told that an apartment was available only to be told later that it had already been rented out. Maria A. also complained about poor communication, citing frequent water shutdowns and the importance of laundry facilities during the pandemic.
