Overwhelmingly Negative Experience
The majority of reviews for Lonestar apartments, managed by Struga, paint a dire picture of a lackluster living experience. Many residents reported numerous issues with maintenance, including broken appliances, pest infestations, and inadequate response to complaints.
Maintenance and Management Issues
Resident after resident expressed frustration with maintenance requests being ignored for extended periods, leading to further problems and inconvenience. Sandra Wildfang described her experience with "no maintenance, trash over grounds 24/7, dog poop everywhere, used needles in the parking lot, and flies from the stagnant swamp coolers." Other residents encountered similar issues, including broken appliances, leaking pipes, and pests.
Unresponsive Management
Several reviewers noted that management failed to address concerns in a timely or effective manner. Michael Wildfang and Jelly Beans specifically mentioned that management didn't respond to concerns or issues, while A. S. recounted an experience where management took months to fix black mold in the kitchen.
Safety Concerns
Some residents reported safety issues, including the presence of used needles and syringes in the parking lot and surrounding areas. Other concerns included the lack of security measures, such as cameras or on-site staff.
