Redefining the Hardwood Flooring Revolution
At Seed of Life Center for Early Learning and Preschool, Inc., we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children from birth to kindergarten age. Our mission is to provide an academically enriched curriculum and environment through play that supports and creates a climate for healthy development in a multicultural, multilingual community.
With over two decades of experience, we have been part of the Seattle community since June 1997. We started in our home and expanded to a small center in Beacon Hill before moving to our permanent location on Rainier Avenue. Today, we have three locations, including the main location in Rainier Avenue, the satellite location at MLK Jr. Elementary School, and the location at Rainier Beach Community Center.

Concerns about Ableism and Communication Issues
Mister Hound's 1-star review highlights a disturbing incident where the owner of the childcare center behaved abusively and ableistically towards a family with a member who uses a disability placard. The reviewer recounts how the owner was curt and discriminatory when explaining the circumstances of the situation, and even threatened to lock the reviewer in the lot and have them towed. This experience led the reviewer to warn others not to trust the center with their children.
Positive Experiences and Recommendations
On the other hand, several reviewers have reported positive experiences at Seed of Life. Garcia Garcia gave the center 5 stars, praising its cozy atmosphere and friendly employees. JenLo and Jenny Faubion also gave the center 5 stars, appreciating the staff's attentiveness, caring nature, and nationally accredited curriculum. Annika Grever and Genevieve Ramsey also praised the center's loving and caring teachers, with Grever's children attending for over 6 years and Ramsey's children being happy with the care received.
Concerns about Poor Communication and Facilities
Some reviewers have expressed frustration with the center's communication. Thien Hoang had trouble getting in touch with the center to inquire about their Pre-K program, while Caitlin Fritz described the staff as miserable and unenjoyable to be around. Kerriann Egan, on the other hand, had a horrific experience where a teacher threatened her son with bleach water in his mouth, as well as putting him in the hallway alone. This incident led Egan to report the center to CPS and the city, and advise others not to recommend the school.
