Custom Finishers, Inc. has been a leading provider of custom fabricated and finished wood composite panels for over 40 years. We specialize in serving manufacturers of furniture, point of purchase displays, store fixtures, and a wide variety of other industries. Our expertise lies in providing high-quality wood composite panels quickly, accurately, and consistently. Whether it's hardboard or MDF components for furniture manufacturers or point of purchase displays for store fixture manufacturers, our attention to detail ensures delivery of parts on time, on size, and on color.
Our History
Custom Finishers, Inc. was founded by three men with expertise in processing wood-based panels and in the chemical coating of panels. The core business plan was to supply the expanding furniture industry primarily within a 100-mile radius of High Point, North Carolina, the Furniture Capital of the World. Over the years, we have expanded our physical factory six times and use two remote warehouses for raw material storage. Although 90% of our wood furniture manufacturing customers fell victim to imports, we were successful in transitioning into new markets with few changes in our operation.
Our Capabilities
We specialize in custom fabrication and finishing of hardboard and composite boards for various industries. Our in-house services include CNC routing, laser cutting, laser engraving, painting and woodgrain printing, edge banding, T-molding, edge painting, edge shaping, bull nose, beveling, litho lamination, and engineering. We also offer packaging and fulfillment services, cut-to-size hardboard, MDF, and HDF wholesale sheet stock.
Our Philosophy
Custom Finishers is a privately owned company that takes pride in consistently producing quality work and supporting our community. We believe in working closely with our customers and suppliers to achieve optimal results. Our 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in High Point, N.C. features state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including CNC machinery, lasers, and high-solids water-based and UV-cured coatings.
