For over three decades, the Cross Cultural Health Care Program (CCHCP) has been dedicated to advancing health equity and promoting culturally competent healthcare practices. Since our inception in 1992, we have established ourselves as leaders in teaching effective cross-cultural communication and provide training and consulting services to healthcare organizations.

With over 30 years of experience, we have developed expertise in providing training and consulting services to health care organizations and medical interpreters. Our programs are designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively communicate with patients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Medical Interpreter Training
Our Bridging the Gap (BTG) program offers professional training in medical interpreting, with options for 40-hour or 64-hour programs. We also offer a Training of Trainers course for organizations seeking to train medical interpreters.
Equity & Inclusion Training and Consulting
We provide cultural competency training, organizational assessments, and training of trainers courses to help health care organizations understand, train, and promote equitable and inclusive practices.
Connecting to Care
Our Connecting to Care (CTC) program teaches medical interpreters how to help patients navigate the complex healthcare system with confidence.
Training of Trainers
We offer courses for organizations seeking to train staff to become trainers of our Bridging the Gap, Connecting to Care, or Equity and Inclusion programs.
Publications
Our online store offers bilingual medical glossaries in 27 languages and published studies on community and culture. BTG licensed agencies can access their store login to order BTG textbooks and receive 15% off all purchases.
