Mid-States Construction is a full-service design-build general contractor established in 1975, specializing in industrial construction involving pre-engineered steel buildings, concrete, and carpentry. Our History

Mid-States Construction was founded by Donald Shaum Sr. in Elkhart, Indiana, with a vision to contribute to the growth and expansion of the local community. Over the years, we have specialized in on-site preparation, concrete work, and pre-engineered steel building erection. Today, under the leadership of Donald Shaum Jr., we have expanded our services nationwide, providing concrete work and steel-erected buildings while maintaining our roots in Northern Indiana.
