Dr. Halem's Reviews
Five-Star Reviews
Dr. Halem has received numerous five-star reviews from satisfied patients who praise her exceptional bedside manner, knowledge, and skills in dermatology. They describe her as kind, patient, and talented, with a magic touch when it comes to making patients look their best. Many patients have been her loyal clients for years and highly recommend her to friends.
One-Star Review
On the other hand, one patient had a very disappointing and traumatic experience with Dr. Halem. The patient had an abnormal spot on their cheek that Dr. Halem initially downplayed and did not biopsy. When the patient insisted on getting it biopsied, Dr. Halem informed them that it was skin cancer and removed it with a routine procedure. However, the patient later discovered that Dr. Halem had not informed them about the severity of the cancer and its aggressive form. The patient underwent multiple MOHs surgeries, without being told about the extent of the damage, and was left with a significant deformity. The patient felt belittled and dismissed by Dr. Halem, who did not apologize or take responsibility for her mistakes. Instead, Dr. Halem berated the patient over the phone, causing further distress.
