Our Story
As a State Farm Insurance Agent, I, Scott Nelms, have had the privilege of serving the St. Petersburg community for many years. Born and raised in Orlando, FL, I attended the University of Georgia and later transferred to Florida State University, where I earned a BS degree in Business. Following my passion for flying, I completed pilot training and flew T-38s and KC-135s in the Vietnam War, earning three Air Medals. After my military service, I became a State Farm Agent in Mt. Dora and later an Agency Manager with State Farm. Our group of Pinellas Agents were recognized for their achievements, earning a spot in the Leaders Club.
