User Experience
Some users had positive experiences at The Root Salon, while others were disappointed. Lisa D'Alessandro had a wonderful experience with Amaya Destiny, who did a great color, glaze, and blowout, and the reception staff was courteous. Leatrice Coleman and her daughter had an excellent experience with Shane, who was friendly, funny, and explained everything he was doing.

Theresa Kellar was frustrated with the salon's inability to provide a stylist who could cut her curly 3b hair. She was told that no stylists at the salon knew how to cut curly hair, and later discovered that the stylist she was booked with couldn't do "ethnic" hair. Kelly Tapley was unhappy with her stylist's lack of communication and rushed service. Kelsi Sharp felt that her stylist did not put any effort into her haircut and was rushed through her appointment.
