Metropolitan Pilates is a state-of-the-art Pilates studio located in the heart of Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to provide the best Pilates instruction, tailored to each individual client's fitness goals and previous injuries. We are dedicated to delivering an authentic Pilates experience, developed by Joseph Pilates, in a safe and welcoming environment. Our studio is conveniently located in the University Village shopping center, providing easy access to our facility.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to cater to our clients' diverse needs and goals. These include:

  • Private Sessions: Our private sessions are tailored to each client's specific needs and goals. Our experienced instructors will work with you to create a customized workout plan to achieve your desired results.
  • Duet Sessions: If you have a workout partner or friend, we offer duet sessions where two people can work out together. This is an excellent way to motivate and support each other in your fitness journey.
  • Semi-Private Sessions: Once you become more proficient in your Pilates practice, you can join our semi-private sessions, which are limited to 4-6 people. This allows for a more personalized experience while still being able to interact with others.
  • Group Classes: Our group classes, such as MatPlus, offer a fun and social atmosphere where you can work out alongside others with similar fitness goals.
  • Pilates Teacher Certification: Metropolitan Pilates is a licensed vocational school in the State of Washington, offering the M.A.T. Pilates Teacher Certification program. Our training program is designed by renowned master teacher Dorothee VandeWalle and provides a comprehensive education in the authentic Pilates method.

Our Studio

Our studio features state-of-the-art equipment, including Gratz Pilates equipment, and spacious locker rooms complete with shower facilities. We are committed to providing a clean and comfortable environment for our clients. We keep our doors and windows open whenever possible, and use our fans and Austin Medical Grade Air Purifier 24/7 to improve ventilation.

Studio Policies

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for in-studio and online sessions. You will be charged for your session unless you call to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. We require all clients to wear socks to all in-studio sessions and classes. Barefoot is not allowed. We also recommend not wearing jewelry, pants or shorts with zippers, scented lotions or perfume.
