Bringing the taste of Italy to New York, one dish at a time.

At Tarallucci e Vino, we are passionate about bringing the authentic flavors and culture of Italy to New Yorkers and visitors alike. Established in 2001, our lively all-day Italian bistro and wine bar was founded with the vision of recreating the casual elegance of Italy's bars and cafes in the heart of Manhattan. Our menu features a delicious blend of traditional Italian dishes and fresh, seasonal ingredients, carefully selected to highlight the natural beauty of the ingredients. Our expertly curated wine list showcases a selection of gems from family-run wineries in Italy, complementing our menus to create a truly authentic Italian dining experience.

Our Story

Our journey began with the vision of Luca Di Pietro, a native of Abruzzo, Italy, who founded Tarallucci e Vino in 2001. With a passion for all things Italian, Luca sought to promote Italy's rich culinary heritage and culture in New York City. Beginning with a single location, our restaurants have grown to four locations across Manhattan, each offering a unique and welcoming atmosphere. From our diverse wine lists to our carefully crafted menus, we strive to transport our customers on a culinary journey through Italy.

Feed the Frontlines NYC

As the COVID-19 pandemic took its toll on our city, we were inspired by the kind-hearted actions of our customer, Adair Roberts, who wanted to support our restaurant and the brave healthcare workers on the frontlines of the fight against the pandemic. This initiative, Feed the Frontlines NYC, was born, aiming to deliver meals from local restaurants to healthcare workers and first responders. Since then, our initiative has grown to support over 30 restaurants, enabling them to keep their lights on and over 130 employees back at work. We continue to fight to re-emerge from the devastating impacts of the pandemic, and we invite you to join us in our ongoing efforts to keep New Yorkers healthy, well-fed, and employed.
