Our History
Built in 1895, our building has a rich history of entertaining locals and visitors alike. Originally constructed as a liquor store and brewery, the building has been home to several establishments, including a speakeasy and tavern. In the 1980s, the building was purchased and renamed Cafe Zelda, after F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife, who embodied the roaring 20's lifestyle. Since then, our current owners, Patrick and Craig Kilroy, have continued the 100-year-old tradition of serving quality seafood and steaks in a lively and inviting atmosphere.

We are proud to be active in our community and involved with various worthy causes, including Days of Taste, Leukemia Cup, Taste of Newport, YMCA Summer Camps, The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, and countless golf tournaments.
