Disappointing Stays
A group of travelers checked-in to this beachfront hotel in Seaside, expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay. However, their experiences were mixed, with some encountering significant issues.
Room Issues
Tony Martin, a 1-star reviewer, had a particularly frustrating stay. He booked two rooms for one night, but one of the rooms had issues with the key card and was later replaced due to a broken latch. The new room smelled like a wet dog and had a broken window, requiring the hotel to provide a stick to secure it. TV streaming was also a challenge, with buffering every 2 minutes.
Location and Amenities
Lisa Martin, a 5-star reviewer, had a positive experience, praising the hotel's location, cleanliness, and welcoming staff. Addie Melvin, another 5-star reviewer, enjoyed the hotel's cozy common area, nicely updated rooms, and free EV charging. Susanna, also a 5-star reviewer, loved the hotel's renovation, location, and amenities like a French press coffee machine and a heated saltwater pool.
Pet-Friendly and Negatives
Caitlin Mulcahy, a 3-star reviewer, was neutral about the hotel, citing its proximity to the beach and shops/ restaurants. However, she noted that pet hair was not thoroughly cleaned from the floor and rug. Dejan Braki, a 2-star reviewer, was disappointed with the hotel's condition, mentioning an unpleasant mold smell, concrete floor, poor lighting, and lack of basic amenities like breakfast.
