Located in the heart of scenic Boothbay Harbor, Maine, the Tugboat Inn is a premier waterfront establishment offering 64 non-smoking rooms and suites facing the water in 5 different buildings. Our property has a rich history, with a colorful past as home to various businesses and local landmarks. Our Accommodations

The Tugboat Inn offers a range of accommodations, each tastefully decorated and featuring king or queen size beds, private bath with personal amenities, individual climate control, remote controlled cable television, in-room brewed coffee with Keurig coffee makers, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Our rooms are situated near or over the water, offering stunning harbor views and comfortable amenities.

Our Buildings

We have five buildings, each with its own unique character and charm.

• Red Building: This building features 3 levels, including a first floor with semi-private balconies and 1st floor rooms with mix of single queen or 2 queen beds. Some stairs not first floor.
• Tugboat Pier Building: With 2 levels, this building offers single kings or single queens above the water, some with deck space outside door and others sharing waterview deck. The 2nd floor has a hot tub in front. This building is actually located over the water, offering harbor views from most rooms.
• Marina Building: This building has 2 levels, featuring semi-private balconies. Two front rooms directly face the water, and two side rooms have a limited view from the room but share a waterview deck. One of these rooms features a Tempur-Pedic bed.
• Main Building: Our largest accommodations are located in this building, which has 3 levels. These rooms have private balconies and offer stunning harbor views. The "Clipper Suite" is a one-bedroom suite featuring a living room, fully equipped kitchen, private deck, and partial water view. First-floor rooms have 2 queen beds and common deck space outside the door.
• Wharf Pier Building: This 2-story building overlooks the inner harbor and our marina, featuring excellent bay views. Second-level rooms have a sliding glass door opening onto a semi-private balcony. First-floor rooms share a common deck and have a mix of single queen or 2 queen beds.
