Located in the heart of The Highlands on Bardstown Road, ROC Restaurant is a chic, high-energy Italian restaurant that brings the authentic flavors of Italy to Louisville, Kentucky. Our story began in Tribeca, New York City, where our founder, Rocco Cadolini, opened the original ROC Restaurant 17 years ago. After years of success in the city, Rocco decided to bring his passion for Italian cuisine to the South, and ROC Restaurant was born.
Our Story
Born in Sorrento, Italy, off the Amalfi Coast, Rocco Cadolini has always been-passionate about food and hospitality. He studied Hotel and Restaurant Management in school and worked in the hospitality industry in London and Switzerland before moving to New York City. After gaining valuable experience in the industry, Rocco became a manager at the iconic restaurant Elios on Second Avenue. After 10 years at Elios, Rocco ventured out to open his own restaurant in Tribeca, naming it ROC. The restaurant quickly became a hit, and Rocco went on to open a second restaurant, Baci & Abbracci, a more casual Neapolitan pizzeria in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Our wine list offers a wide selection of traditional Italian wines, as well as a variety of bourbons. We also cater to private events and parties, with two private rooms named after Rocco's daughters, Alessia and Sofia.
