At Winhold Preschool Academy, we have been providing excellence in Montessori education for over 38 years. Founded in 1982 by Eleanor Winhold, our Montessori approach focuses on child-led learning, where students are encouraged to be the directors of their own study, identifying and pursuing projects that interest them, with the teacher serving as a guide to their learning.

Nido & Toddlers Program
For children aged 1 to 3 years old, our Nido & Toddlers Program is specifically designed to cultivate the children's growing need for independence, order, sensory exploration, movement, and language. This program focuses on the child's development of physical, social, and emotional skills, with a strong emphasis on physical education, art, culture, and community.
Preschool & Kinder Program
For children aged 3 to 6 years old, our Preschool & Kinder Program is designed to prepare them for school and help them develop independence, self-motivation, and a love of learning. This program covers the five key curriculum areas, with science, music, art, and physical education playing an important part in daily activities.
VPK Program
Our Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Program is a free program created to prepare every four-year-old for kindergarten and build a strong foundation for future success. This program is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
