Estate Planning: We guide our clients to create life care planning solutions that protect their privacy and legal rights. Our services include the preparation of Last Wills & Testaments, Durable Powers of Attorney, Designations of Healthcare Surrogates, Living Wills, and revocable or irrevocable trusts, if appropriate, to achieve the clients' goals.
Incapacity Planning: We counsel our clients about using special needs trusts to provide an inheritance for a loved one who may have an incapacity or, disability. We also provide legal documents such as a Durable Power of Attorney and Designation of Healthcare Surrogate to ensure that our clients' wishes are carried out in the event of incapacity.
Long-Term Care Planning: We provide expert guidance on financing long-term care through insurance and government programs such as Medicaid, SSI, and Veteran's benefits. Our goal is to preserve assets for the benefit of the well spouse, partner or any dependents, reduce or eliminate the fear of impoverishment, and help our clients evaluate the benefits and limitations of the public health care system.
Guardianship: We provide legal representation for guardianship proceedings for both adults and minors, and we advise our clients of the impact of any plan on the client, family, the estate, and heirs.
