Patient Experiences with Dr. Shabazz
Unprofessional Behavior and Poor Communication
Patients have reported feeling dismissed and rushed during their appointments with Dr. Shabazz. She has been described as having a poor attitude and lacking professional communication skills. In one instance, a patient was told to try a treatment for three months without any direct communication from Dr. Shabazz, and was instead relayed through a medical assistant. This behavior has been deemed unprofessional and even dangerous, as medical assistants are not licensed to discuss medication treatment.
Lack of Transparency and Hidden Fees
Patients have also reported a lack of transparency regarding fees and treatment costs. One patient was surprised to receive a bill for $157 for the removal of a single skin tag, which was not disclosed prior to treatment. Another patient felt that the fees for treatment were not reasonable and were not adequately explained.
