Aias

The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is an independent, nonprofit, student-run organization dedicated to advancing leadership, design, and service among architecture students. We believe that the future of architecture lies in the hands of its students, and it is our mission to provide them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Our organization is made up of a diverse group of students from all over the world who are passionate about architecture and dedicated to making a difference in their communities. Through our various programs and initiatives, we aim to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among our members, while also providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to become successful architects.

Services Offered

We offer a wide range of services to our members, including access to exclusive events, networking opportunities, and leadership training programs. Our members also have access to our extensive digital resources, including software survival guides, licensing advisors, and more.

One of our most popular programs is our Freedom by Design initiative, which pairs students with individuals in their community who are in need of design assistance. Through this program, our members gain valuable hands-on experience while also making a positive impact on their community.

We also offer a variety of competitions and awards for our members, including the CRIT Journal and CRIT Scholar competitions, as well as our annual Honor Awards. These programs provide our members with the opportunity to showcase their talents and compete with their peers from around the world.

Chapter Information

We offer a variety of resources and support for our chapters, including chapter starter packs, leadership training programs, and more. We also recognize and celebrate the achievements of our chapters through our Chapter of the Month and Chapter Leader of the Month awards.

Career Resources

We understand that finding a job after graduation can be challenging, which is why we offer a variety of career resources to our members. Our AIAS Career Center provides access to job listings, resume building tools, and more. We also offer scholarships and fellowships to help our members further their education and achieve their career goals.

In addition to these resources, we also offer summer architecture programs and internships, which provide our members with valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain real-world skills.
