Our Story
Southwest Veterinary Clinic was founded by Dr. William McCant in 1970, with a vision to provide quality veterinary care to the Southwest Atlanta community. After Dr. McCant's untimely passing in 2017, the hospital closed its doors. However, in 2019, the clinic reopened under new management, with a renewed commitment to serving the community. Our clinic boasts a multi-cultural team of experts and experienced staff members who are honest, personable, and dedicated to your pet's health.

Dr. Makeba Clarke, a Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate, is the driving force behind Southwest Veterinary Clinic.
