At Craft, we are committed to providing an exceptional dining experience that combines the finest ingredients with warm hospitality. Our story began over two decades ago, when Chef Tom Colicchio, then at the helm of Gramercy Tavern, reflected on his favorite food - morels. He dreamed of a restaurant that would allow diners to experience the simplicity and elegance of seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Since our inception, we have been dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality and service. Our menu is designed to showcase the best of what each season has to offer, with dishes that are both familiar and innovative. Our commitment to using only the freshest ingredients has earned us numerous accolades, including the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant nationwide in 2002 and three stars from the New York Times.

Our Team

At the helm of our kitchen is Executive Chef Tom Colicchio, who brings his passion for seasonal cooking to every dish. Our Chef de Cuisine, Andrew Whitcomb, is responsible for crafting menus that are both elegant and approachable. Our General Manager, Darren Dunn, oversees the front of the house, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Our Beverage Director, Cheron Cowan, curates a thoughtfully selected wine list that complements our menu perfectly.

Dining Experience

At Craft, we offer a range of dining options to suit every taste. Our dinner service features a menu that changes seasonally, with a focus on showcasing the freshest ingredients from local farms and artisanal producers. We are located at 43 E 19th Street, New York, NY 10003. Our hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday, 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and Friday and Saturday, 5:00pm to 9:30pm.
