Our Story

At E&A, we're a planning, engineering, environmental, and field services company with deep roots in the Midwest. For over five decades, we've been dedicated to creating and supporting the infrastructure and landscapes that our families, friends, and neighbors enjoy. As a trusted and experienced partner, we've had the privilege of working behind the scenes to serve our clients' needs, always pushing forward to make a positive impact in our communities.

Our History

E&A's story began in 1966, when Leon Black and Don Elliott founded Elliott and Black in Omaha. The company started providing civil engineering services for land development, land surveying, construction administration, and residential SID maintenance services. Over the years, we've grown and evolved, expanding our services to include environmental and field services. In 1998, we opened a Lincoln office, and in 2008, we acquired O'Neill Engineering, Inc. in Phoenix. In 2016, we officially changed our name to E&A, and in 2018, we closed our Arizona location. Today, we remain committed to providing innovative engineering answers for every project, striving to grow with the changing needs of our clients.
