At Sato General & Cosmetic Dermatology, our mission is to provide exceptional dermatological care to our patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. Our Team

Our team is led by Dr. Ryan M. Sato, a board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in the latest dermatological treatments. Dr. Sato received his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawai'i and completed his dermatology residency at SUNY Buffalo and Oregon Health & Science University. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Hawaii Dermatological Society, Hawaii Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.

Our team also includes Brooke Garcia, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant with over ten years of experience in dermatology. Brooke received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and has a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Utah.

Our Services

At Sato General & Cosmetic Dermatology, we offer a wide range of services to address various skin, hair, and nail concerns. Our medical dermatology services include treatment of chronic skin conditions such as eczema, acne, and psoriasis, as well as skin cancer biopsy and surgical excision.

Our cosmetic dermatology services include a variety of treatments to help you look and feel your best. We offer Botox, fillers, and laser treatments to address concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. We are also an authorized retailer of Skinceuticals, EltaMD, Latisse, and SkinBetter Science.

TeleDermatology

In an effort to stem the transmission of COVID-19 and protect our staff and community, we have implemented TeleDermatology, a virtual appointment system that allows us to continue providing care to our patients remotely. Through TeleDermatology, you can communicate with our healthcare providers, receive diagnoses, and receive treatment recommendations, all from the comfort of your own home.

We accept a variety of insurances, including HMSA/UHA/HMAA/MEDICARE/HMSA AKAMAI. We are happy to verify your insurance plan's TeleHealth benefits and guide you through the billing and payment process.
