Noise and Disrespect Issues
The reviewer, Ann Bailey, expresses her frustration and disappointment with the noise level in her apartment at Belvidere, a 55+ community. She claims that the noise from children running around and playing above her unit has been unbearable, disrupting her sleep and peace. Despite speaking with the neighbor and reporting the issue to the rental office, the problem persists.
Lack of Concern from Management
Ann Bailey feels that the management office is not taking her concerns seriously, and instead, is passing the responsibility to the police. She is appalled that the management has not addressed the issue, and their response has been condescending and unhelpful.
Disrespect for Residents
Ann Bailey believes that the management's lack of concern for the noise issue is a sign of disrespect for the residents, especially seniors who are paying a significant amount of money to live in a supposed "luxury" community. She is unhappy with the overall quality of the apartments, citing dirty carpets, dirty walls, and lack of amenities.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, Gloria Ervin and Sam Kennedy have had positive experiences at Belvidere. Gloria enjoyed a great massage therapy session and praised the new manager, Sherri, for doing a great job. Sam Kennedy had a wonderful time visiting his great aunt at Belvidere and appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, Rhandi and Lauren.
