Dr. Balaraman attended Tamil Nadu Dental College, a prestigious dental and medical college in South India and received her Bachelor's in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000. Upon immigrating to the US, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2006 from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF School of Dentistry).
