Empowering Lives Through Martial Arts
At First Kids Early Childhood & School Age Care, we take pride in offering a faith-based learning environment where children can grow in knowledge and love of God, physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Our mission is to provide a Christian atmosphere and stimulating environment where each child can feel secure and comfortable, away from home and family. We are committed to meeting the basic needs of each child, providing attention, acceptance, and affection, helping each child develop a positive self-image and sense of competence, and encouraging each child to develop a concern for others, a sense of community, and a spirit of sharing.
Our Services
We offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of today's families, including infant and toddler early education and care, preschool, extended day (morning and afternoon), full-time childcare, and school-age care. Our curriculum is based on the Creative Curriculum and the WEE Learn Christian Curriculum, which is framed by theory and philosophy of life. Our program is designed to provide opportunities for children to learn about God's World and how to live in it, while promoting physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is built on the theories of development in young children, which states that all children learn best by doing. We believe that young children learn through active exploration of their environment, and therefore, our environment plays a critical role in learning. We provide opportunities for children to engage in activities that promote creativity, exploration, self-discipline, and a love of learning.
